minutes from Gibraltar. The town covers an area of 35´20 square kilometers and is 128 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The town has a fascinating history which dates back to Roman times and, still today, there are some remarkably well-preserved Roman sulphur baths. |
Beaches in the area are the best on the Costa del Sol, and even in the height of summer they are anything but busy. Plenty of golfing locally,
and the Duquesa marina provides for the opportunity for those with
a nautical persuasion. |
